The Angy Care Health Foundation is a charity organisation based in Gravesend, Kent, dedicated to improving the lives of older adults in our community. Every individual deserves support, compassion, and access to essential resources, especially as they navigate the challenges associated with ageing. Our mission is to provide relief to older adults in need by focusing on various aspects of their well-being. We work tirelessly to create programs that address age-related issues, promote health awareness, and foster social connections. Through our initiatives, we aim to enhance the quality of life for seniors in Gravesend Kent and the surrounding areas, ensuring they feel valued and included in society.
Our key activities include raising awareness of age-related health matters, providing medical aid to Africa, offering counselling services, and organising social activities to combat loneliness. We also operate a food bank to assist the entire Gravesend Kent community, those facing food insecurity, and are dedicated to preventing isolation and poverty among older adults.
Additionally, we have established a digital hub to bridge the technology gap and help seniors stay connected in today’s digital world. At the Angy Care Health Foundation, we are passionate about making a meaningful impact and empowering older adults to lead fulfilling lives. Moreover, we recognize the financial constraints faced by many, which is why we ensure accessibility by distributing free mobility aids to those in need, regardless of their location. Our dedicated team of caregivers undergoes rigorous screening, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals with a minimum of level 2 healthcare qualifications are entrusted with the responsibility of providing assistance. Additionally, our commitment to hygiene is unwavering, with all staff involved in meal preparation possessing level 2 food hygiene qualifications.
